About

I am a competitive rock climber, certified climbing instructor, competition coach, route setter, kid wrangler and work at Altitude Gym in Kanata, Ontario.  I started rock climbing in Newfoundland when I was 10 years old. Two years later I was on the Alpine Club of Canada Newfoundland junior climbing team and in a competitive training regime. By 15 I had competed in a dozen competitions in Newfoundland, Ontario, Nova Scotia and Quebec. By 19 I have been to six Quebec provincial championship, 6 national championships and competed in a number of Tour de Bloc National Bouldering Series events.

I love to compete in the gym but I’m also a member of the the Alpine Club of Canada and Association of Canadian Mountain Guides and love climbing outdoors with the great bouldering, trad, sport and ice climbing offered around my home province of Newfoundland and Labrador. Also lucky to have climbed in the Bow Valley, Kananaskis and the Cape Breton highlands.

I have been a supported athlete by Scarpa since 2017 and an ambassador for ASM Sports in Montreal.

…it’s an ongoing adventure. You can follow along on Instagram, Facebock and Twitter.
